Agrigento’s Mandorlo in Fiore folk fest

  E’ uno dei primi lavori che ho fatto per David Zard dopo il “debutto” con i Pink Floyd e Michael Jackson. Era la prima edizione del famoso festival di Agrigento con la direzione artistica di Gianni Minà. Una kermesse folk con delegazioni da molti paesi del mondo. In quella occasioni mi occupai ancora del progetto d’uso della città, logistica e servizi e sotto la guida di Dory che sarebbe diventato mio socio da lì a poco, del progetto della produzione.

 

 

Le Oba Oba, bellissime e discinte ballerine di Rio de Janeiro, erano attesissime da tutti gli uomini agrigentini, ma c’era anche Chico Buarque de Hollanda e Joan Manuel Serrat. Poi la Valle dei Templi e i mandorli bianchi e rosa che come la neve imbiancavano il panorama di Agrigento, anticipando la primavera con una mascherata invernale. In tre parole la Sicilia, il suo cuore, la sua natura.

 

 

It’s one of the first works I did for David Zard after my “debut” in the Pink Floyd and Michael Jackson’s concerts production. It was the first Agrigento’s famous folk fest edition under the Gianni Minà direction. An all over the world delegations kermes. That time I had to do again an urban project, logistics and services and a production project under Dory Zard supervision. We were close to become partners in donQuijote new-co.

The Oba Oba, beautiful and very naked dancers from Rio de Janeiro, were the attractions for all the Agrigentine men, but there were also Chico Buarque de Hollanda and Joan Manuel Serrat. Above all this there was The Temples Valley and the white and pink almond trees whitening the Agrigentine landscape wearing in an early springtime a winter mask.

In three words: Sicily, its heart, its nature.
