Una casa di luce e colore. E’ la strana storia di una casa nata alla fine di un’epoca nella vita di un artista. Giovane sulla strada del successo, un posto dove vivere, creare, incontrare, riconoscersi.
Un affaccio su Roma con il Tevere davanti, l’Ara della Pace e la Tomba di Augusto subito oltre. Tanta luce.
Un modo di vivere disordinato e contemporaneo di un giovane uomo solo che deve riflettere la sua immagine ma dare anche l’ordine.
Il colore spalmato col gesso ‘alla romana’ vuol provocare dando un carattere ai diversi momenti della giornata. Il giallo per il giorno in ingresso, nel salotto e nella cucina che con il grande tavolo è anche un momento di lavoro.
Il blu per la notte in camera da letto dove il letto campeggia centrale di sbieco guardando la finestra su un palcoscenico le cui quinte nascondono la cabina armadio e un piccolo studio.
Verde acqua per il bagno fresco di marmo e tesserine di mosaico usate a passepartout dietro i sanitari e a rivestimento dell’intera parete come in una piscina attorno alla vasca-doccia-idromassaggio.
Il legno corre fluido tra una camera e l’altra a dare supporto e calore, le aperture tra le stanze accostano i colori in maniera differente nella giornata.
Ogni stanza ha un elemento caratterizzante, le lampadine avvitate nel muro, mobili rivestiti in listelli di legno, pezzi di muro a vista, tracce di sé attorno alle quali costruire la quotidianità.
Ma quell’epoca era finita, il successo lo portò via lungo un’atra storia lasciando la casa vuota.

A messy and contemporary life style of a young single man which mast reflect his image but at the same time put order on it.
The colour spread mixed with plaster in the ‘roman’ way wants to provoke giving a character to the different moment of the day. Yellow for the day in the entrance, living room and kitchen where is even a working place on the large table.
Blue for the night in the sleeping room where the bed stands asquint in the middle facing the window as on a stage with its theatrical backstage to hide a dressing room and a small studio.
Water green for the bathroom, fresh marble and mosaic tiles as passepartout behind the sanitary and coating the walls as in a swimming pool around the hydromassage tub and shower.
Wood runs fluid on the floor from a room to the other to support and heat, to room openings combine the colours in different ways along the day.
Every room has an element to characterize the space, light bulbs screwed in the walls, brickworks furniture coated in wooden sticks, a wall that shows the bricks under the plaster, traces of himself to built around the everyday life.
But that age was gone, success brought him away along another story living the house empty.
